Canadian MCF Formulary is now live

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Canadian Medicine Carbon Footprint (MCF) Formulary, created by The Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care in collaboration with YewMaker.

The Canadian MCF Formulary uses YewMaker’s MCF Classifier data and takes inspiration from the original MCF Formulary. It provides MCF Ratings for over 800 medicines frequently prescribed in Canada, covering the cardiovascular system, anti-infectives for systemic use, nervous system, and alimentary tract and metabolism.

The Canadian MCF Formulary is a free educational tool designed to support awareness and research on the carbon emissions of common medicines.
